ASTM A335 this standard specification for seamless ferritic alloy-steel pipe for high-temperature service, is a critical material standard for fin tubes used in high-temperature and high-pressure applications, such as power plants, petrochemical refineries, and heat recovery systems.
P9 material has good oxidation & corrosion resistance and better than P11/P22. With excellent high-temperature strength (up to 600°C+) and superior creep resistance for long-term thermal cycling, P9 material is suitable for welding & fabrication (requires post-weld heat treatment).
